Follow these guidelines to care for your temporary crowns and veneers while your permanent ones are being made:
- Avoid chewing any hard or sticky foods on the teeth with temporary restorations
- Avoid colored drinks that can seep under your temporaries and cause staining
- Brush along the front and back gumline
- Avoid flossing between your teeth while in temporaries as they can pop off
- Swish for 30 seconds twice daily with each of the following:
- chlorhexidine – prescription antiseptic mouthwash
- hydrogen peroxide mix diluted 50% with water
